Kimberly-Clark Completes Global Procurement Platform Rollout and Scales AI Agents

Supply Chain Dive reported on three technology initiatives at Kimberly-Clark. The company completed a global rollout of a unified procurement platform from Coupa, with 90% of its suppliers now on the system, supporting automation, working capital optimization and compliance tracking. It is also scaling AI agents across its manufacturing network after a pilot that showed a 40% to 50% productivity improvement in knowledge-search tasks. And it launched an internal IT Digital University covering 17 skill areas, including AI and data visualization. The initiatives sit within a five-year, $3 billion productivity program that began in 2024.
